Jacinta Fegan might be the mum you've seen at school at thought, I'd like to be friends with her! She is extraordinarily beautiful - she's one of three beautiful sisters - she's kind, and has a calm presence about her. She has three lovely kids, and when her littlest fella Darragh was just turning one she asked me if I'd come and take photos of them at their house. Their house is only recently built and is so charmingly decorated and furnished, and I had to try hard not to gush too much at her excellently subtle use of greys. But believe me, it was beyond tasteful. The kids know me a bit from the school and some family parties, so I didn't need to do a lot of settling in with them - sometimes kids run riot for a half hour or so because of the excitement of the situation, the newness of it, and of course the sense that their parents wanting them to desperately behave is like cat nip for kids! This is actually an excellent time for me to get to know parents, and of course - snuggle with and take photos of the new baby!
Darragh is such a sweet little lad, he seems to just slot right in with the rest of the family so easily. He was a dream to photograph, and it was a chilly but sunny winters day outside so I suggested we make the most of the beautiful day and head outside. I'm SO glad I did! The light was stunning. And I got to see TEN PUPPIES. And a horse, two other puppies, a cat, and a pony. It was a great way to spend the morning! If you'd like a laid back photo session with me, please get in touch here! And you can check out some of my other work on my portfolio pages.
