I don't know anybody who doesn't think autumn is just swell. What's not to like? the colour, the delicate shift of weather that means bobble hats are back in use, the smell of freshly wet earth and leaves beginning to rot. Who knew rotting would smell so good?!
If you're a photographer, you're nearly gleeful to see the back of summer because it means autunm is coming. And that means, AUTUMN MINIS! Which are surely the most fun of ALL photo sessions - kids get to kick leaves, throw leaves, play in leaves. Basically it all is about leaves. And there's a lot of them in Ballymoyer, where I take my mini sessions, and this year the colours were riotous; fiery reds, blazing oranges, mellow yellows, acid greens. It was so very beautiful!
